Hello!
I'm an Associate Professor of Automatic Control at IMT Atlantique, in Nantes, France.
Most of my research revolves around nonlinear dynamical systems with multiple equilibria. I'm interested in finding and characterizing these equilibria, studying their stability and the structure of their regions of attraction, and understanding the conditions under which trajectories converge to a desired configuration. I also like figuring out how to influence these properties, whether through control or the design of the system itself. These questions often lead me toward differential geometry and topology, especially when dealing with systems evolving on manifolds.
I love mathematics, and I'm always up for learning more. One of my favorite things about research is stumbling upon an unfamiliar problem and discovering that it calls for theoretical tools I hadn't expected to use. I particularly enjoy this kind of exploration when it involves real systems: practical challenges often raise fascinating mathematical questions, and understanding the underlying theory can lead to insights that are genuinely useful in practice.
